Audit content is stored on your device.

AuditLibre is designed so you can create and keep facility audits without an account. The audit content you enter in the app is stored by your browser on the device you are using. AuditLibre does not provide account-based cloud synchronization for that content.

Audit content

Audit content may include locations, templates, schedules, answers, issue notes, GPS coordinates, photos, unfinished audits, and completed Audit Book entries. This content is stored in browser storage on your device unless you choose to export it.

Backups and reports

When you download a backup ZIP or PDF report, your browser saves that file where you choose. You control how those exported files are stored, shared, and protected. A restore reads a backup you select and replaces the app data currently stored in that browser only after confirmation. AuditLibre downloads a safety backup before replacement.

Ordinary web-server information

Like most websites, the servers delivering AuditLibre may process ordinary technical request information such as the requested page, time, IP address, browser user-agent, response status, and referring page. This information may be retained in server logs for operation, security, troubleshooting, and aggregate traffic understanding. It is separate from the audit content stored in your browser.

Optional third-party maps

AuditLibre does not load a map background until you choose that feature. If you select Load map background, your browser requests coordinate-derived map tiles from OpenStreetMap. If you choose an issue’s Google Maps link, your browser opens Google Maps with that issue’s coordinates. Those providers receive the requested map area or coordinates along with ordinary request data such as your IP address and browser information. Their handling of that information is governed by the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy and Google privacy policy.

Accounts, advertising, and analytics

AuditLibre does not require a user account and does not display advertising. The public site does not use third-party advertising trackers or analytics scripts.

Your responsibilities

Browser storage belongs to a specific browser and web address. Clearing browser or site data, switching browsers or devices, or moving to another web address can make records unavailable. Download current backup ZIP files regularly and protect them according to the sensitivity of your audit content.

This notice may be updated as AuditLibre changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.
